Guests leaving today were telling me of their recent vacations and the "hidden" costs of traveling. They said that they were a bit taken back by the added on fees of hotels, mainly "resort and parking fees." They went on to mention that Rent A Cars and various other lodging choices also were adding fees. They were grateful that we here at Fairview Manor stick to our daily rates and taxes, both of which are prominently displayed on our web site. 

We admittedly did raise our daily rates but not by much. I know that when we travel I like to know the cost upfront and not be surprised when the final bill comes. 

So, my suggestion to all is, research the web site of the property you are interested in and before you hit the final button, make sure you know what you are paying.
