The Not-So Mystery Hat Thief Saga

Fuzzy hats seem to be missing here at Fairview Manor B&B! We finally have nabbed the culprit. Ms. Murphy Brown, age 1 1/2 and weighing in at 77 pounds, was caught in the act. This time she was seen entering a guests' car and leaving with the fuzzy hat in her mouth. Though she doesn't rip the hats, it did take a while to chase her down as she ran around the meadow with her new prize. Thankfully, no damage was done to the hat. We also discovered where she had hidden the rest of her "loot" - the hats were behind the clothes hamper. I guess she wanted me to wash them!

Christmas comes to the Manor!

Mom arrived today to help with the decorating. The whole Inn smells of the wonderful noble fir tree that was purchased from the Mt. Feed Store, but only after sampling the organic apple cider. Yum.
The stockings have been hung, just waiting for Santa to fill them. Of course, they will be pushed aside once the fire has been lit.
Celtic music is flowing and the Celtic Woman's Christmas CD is awesome. I can almost smell the sod burning. Someday we will spend the holidays in Dublin.
